Nope, stays clean as a whistle. Original paint. I purchased Internat as frame&fork so, do not know how it was actually equipped. I wonder if it was OEM custom with side pulls. Though, it did have the Weinmann deep, front hanger in poor condition.

(My Competion has the loop. And, Universal side pulls. Too bad I couldn't move the loop from the Comp to the Internat.)

In fact, every Raleigh of that time period equipped with centerpulls had that loop. Maybe someone sawed yours off when they installed sidepulls?? The lack of a loop means that you can use whatever cable hanger works, since you don't have the original equipment. Or maybe find someone to braze a loop back on?

Duane: Sorry - brain cramp. Internat is S/N "F" either late 72 or 73, I think. Mine did not have the braze loop you mention. I know the type. My mid 70's Raleigh Super Grand Prix has the loop. What do your 72 and 74 have? Thanks.

Hi Richard,

Original style was a steel loop brazed to the seat stays, a couple of inches below the seat binder.
