1. did 1st-generation ones with zeus components have oval head badges ?? My 1967 definitely has an oval head badge, but what about others?

a. http://www.yellowjersey.org/RALCOMP.JPG - purple - not sure, need andrew muri's input on this one.

b. http://www.oldtowncyclery.com/cframe.htm - blue/white - not sure. this competition looks like a gransport 1972 model. I'm pretty certain I've seen these on ebay with the heron-shaped badges.

2. In what year did the competition come with a 5-pin gransport chainwheel ?? I've seen a few of these (they look just like a nuovo record, except the spider arms don't ever taper out again near the edge.) I've never seen it in a catalogue.

In what year did the gransport chainwheel look like a nuovo record without the expanding tapers at the edges?
