In my experience w/ pre-SR Colnagos, almost all of them have been messed-with, repainted or crashed. As for finding an original and intact example I agree w/ Matt about their un-plentifulness and un-cheapness.
Put me in the fool category but (after searching for 4 yrs) I paid 1.2k for a '73 Super - and she is among the best-riding bikes ever ..
