Hi Tom, hi all,
I had the same dilemma a while back when I bought a set of NOS Modolo Statos brakes off a list member. I had bought these because I have a Mondial that had these brakes mounted when I bought it, and then I came across another Mondial, ergo I needed the brakes. When they arrived I mounted them and now have two almost identical gold bikes. I do ride the one every once in a while, but I do have a commuter which gets most of the mileage. I guess I am doing both; enjoying the looks and the function. When I am not riding them, they are both hanging off the wall above the bed where my girlfriend can enjoy them as well.
A compromise I can live with, ...
