Dear Friends:

I just wanted to drop a line to the group so that everyone will not think I dropped off of the earth. Needless to say, Craig and I have been VERY busy setting up the new workshop. We're super pleased with our location which has tons of potential. We're focusing on the main things first, building a really cool spray booth (and dealing with all kinds of city and state agencies), plumbing in copper air lines, and running electrical service for our various needs. Doing this stuff is fun in it's own way, trading a torch and silver braze for an arc welder. All of this preliminary construction is giving us a chance to work together and discover that we think very much alike and that we have an easy time of co-operating to accomplish tasks. I'm quite convinced that we are going to have a great time in the refinishing business while still being able to make a living at it.

Once completed, we will have a beautiful, effecient, and well organized workspace. It will be geared towards visits from friends and customers, as we also have room for a "showroom/lounge" that we plan to display our personal collections (in rotation) along with artwork and related (or not) things to thrill and entertain you. We will be able to host rides and small events from this location. We are also just across the street from Gillespie Field in El Cajon; so if anyone wants to fly in to visit the vintage aircract based there you can walk across the street to our place.

I've been trying to keep pace with a number of frame projects and restorations during this time, but it is difficult. Soon everything will be in set and a new world order of framebuilding and restoration will begin. I can't wait to get back to it. I promise everyone who has an interest in vintage bikes that this will be a company dedicated to service with a smile run by people who are active and really care about our "hobby". The possibilities are endless. We will be celebrating out grand opening before too long. Stay tuned for the announcement and don't miss this bash; It'll be one for the record books!
