The fact is there were/are many Campagnolo factory tools that were not made available for 'consumer' use. For whatever reason I can't say. In my box I have a chainring straighter, spider arm straightener & hub race pullers that were given to me by a Vicenza mechanic during the 1984 Games. I've seen other crankarm tools as well but was not presented these at the time I received the others.
I also have factory made 'wheel gappers' which date back to that time when all racers used Campy dropouts and you could prepare spare wheel QR's to fit precisely when performing a wheel change in a race. That is a tool that is no longer useful with the wide range of dropouts in the peloton today.
