Large picture of Bartali's teammate, sprinter Giovanni Corriere, at the 1949 Tour de France. Note the odd way he is wearing the spare around his shoulders and neck. Also note the "Bartali" brakeset with gum hood covers, Cervino rear shifter w/tension arm used with Simplex front derailleur, short areas of chrome (less than 3 inches!) on the forks and stays.
