Don:

I had a 2nd hand set of Weyless hubs on my '71 International, from about 1980 thru 1986 when the bike was stolen in Houston. I'm not the lightest person and I found those hubs to be very durable, no breakage in that timeframe over many miles. The original owner was a big guy of about 220 lbs if I recall. I miss that bike and those wheels. I suppose 18 years is too long to put out an APB?

I saw a Weyless hubset yesterday on a bike during RAGBRAI. Didn't get to chat with owner however, but s/he felt confident enough to take the bike on a 490 mile weeklong trip across Iowa.
