Subject: [CR]WTB: French Thread Pedals

Dear Listees:

I could use a pair of French threaded pedals for a current project. Lightness is key: all alloy track style pedals preferred. Steel cages out. Used fine, but should look respectable.

FYI, these are for a Stan Pike 753 frame M. Copeland is sending me. The lightest cranks I have (I think) are an old set of TAs, but they are french threaded, and cannot be retapped due to the closed back pedal holes. Baron and Cecile have already packed up their supply of french pedals (I missed out on the Zeus trackies, darn it!). Any help appreciated. It's going to be ridden, so NOS not needed or desired, but ok if price is reasonable. I already have the Stronglight headset, light wheel set and Super Record rear derailleur. Any other suggestions for parts? Light but durable is the guideline.

BTW, which is the lightest classic crank set when used as a double? TA Pro Vis, Stronglight 93, or Campy SR (not counting BB's)?

Sales offers off list pliz, and general info on.

Thanks
