Seems to me Merz was more involved in design and prototyping than in production. I think the chainstay decal was recognition of the designer.

I seem to recall that the Allez SE used Konno's "front offset" fork crown but I'm not 100% sure on that point. If it had this feature it was surely built by San Rensho.
