(Second click gets you the BIG picture.)

I recently got this bike on German Ebay. It was purportedly Gregor Braun's Moser, raced in the Giro d'Italia. He raced for Famcucine in 1981, on Moser bikes. (alongside Francesco) All other years he rode for teams not using Moser bikes. So I am figuring it's from the 1981 Famcucine team. Notice the "BRAUN" on the top tube. The seller says he knows Gregor, and I'm hoping to get in touch with him, maybe ask him some more questions about the bike. Gregor Braun rode the Giro D'Italia in 1981 and wore the pink jersey for a day, I think after the first TT. The next German to wear the pink Jersey was Jens Heppner in 2002.

BB just has a "2" stamped in it. Rear derailleur has a PAT 81 on it. After Gregor raced on it, a German amateur named Christian Goldschack owned it and raced on it. "Christian Goldschack wurde auf diesem Rad deutscher Meister bei den Kriterimsfahrern und bestritt auch eine Saison genau auf diesem Rad." One of the the GP4 rims has "GOLDI" on it in marker, and the Look pedals would fit with mid-80s use. It's also got a 7spd twist-tooth Dura-Ace freewheel. The paint is in pretty rough shape. The stenciled graphics are amazingly bad, but seem to fit a true race bike pretty well.

It came without a saddle, so a used Unicanitor from my friend Vlad seemed to suit. Were Turbos in use circa 1981?

I will get a chain on it and take it for a spin ASAP. Just thought I'd share.
