HERE HERE!
I'm in the same boat here - just over a year on this great list, and I've acquired three Eddy Merckx, two Motobecanes, one Trek, and one Schwinn. Resored one of the Motobecanes, and got my 12-year old onto a vintage steel lugged bike.
I love it!

i have to say to any newbies to this list - watch out! this list is dangerous for your wallet. after 'hanging-out' here for a bit over a year, i've 'acquired' 3 vintage bikes in the last 5 months, in various stages of restoration and ride-ability that i didn't think i 'needed' until coming here and reading about everyone else's cool bikes.
my latest procurement is an 81/82 gios super record. i bought it on ebay off the original owner a couple weeks ago. this is actually the most rideable and requires the least restoring out of the box.
next time there is a vintage ride around here, maybe i can actually go and ride something that fits.
be careful out there.
