I guess the Bates will be one of the "special orders and the like" that he told me (face-to-face) he'll still build, because he is working with Paul Taylor of Mill Valley, CA (an excellent builder in his own right) to transfer some of his tricks-of-the-trade ... And Paul will be building frames under the Ron Cooper name as well as under his own.
