girls this is a perfect example of my biggest peeve with this liat. i am going on record to PLEA this suggesstion (and i'm not the first one to make this plea...):

when you REPLY to a post, take the original emailer's text, cut and paste OR trim it to note ONLY the thoughts that you're replying to, and DELETE all the other parts of the text or prior replies by other. also, there is no need to have any post-er's email addresses in the cc field if your reply is concise - just leave the CR address in the "To" field. if you follow this suggestion, all emails and posts and their readlibility will be much more logical. fwiw, chuckie-issimo and phil'brown-issimo are the only listees who get these right. their emails are neat, trimmed, easy to read, nothing exteraneous... e-RICHIE........And the gang!!!! aka Richard M Sachs Chester, CT

John,

You must have been asleep for a couple of digests prior to the one my message appeared in. I didn't introduce the topic so if you want to have a moan about it, take it up with the guy who did. And anyway, if I have to put up with endless debates about TdF riders and racing, none of which has anything to do with classic lightweights, you'll just have to put up with this topic.

Have a nice day,
