Was BF a company or a sub-brand of some larger entity? This is the second
one of these I've seen (the other was installed on an early 80's Gazelle),
and I'd love to know a bit more about them. Are they rare? Are they
valuable? Guessing from the results of the auction I'd guess not! :-)

Looks like a reasonable headset to me. If this is only the second one you
have ever seen, I would conclude that it is "rare". Is it "valuable"?
Well I guess that it "depends"; is the color green better than the color
yellow? If so, then I would agree with your conclusion about the results of the
auction.
