Subject: [CR]Twin Cities Bastille Day Aftermath

Bastille Day Ride went off w/out a hitch on Sunday in St. Paul. Most of the riders were on anglo, American and other non-French bikes. Penalty Shots of ALIZE--an exotic blend of fruit juices and French Cognac--were the designated punishment for riders of un-French bikes. It turned out everybody liked the Alize too much, so next year we'll have to get a more noxious liquore. E-mail w/ suggestions.

Here is a link to pix of the motley crew and 3 French bikes. 1. A Chrome Gitane TDF, fortified w/ Torpado 3spd coaster, and Wald Chrome fenders. 2. A 60s Gitane w/ touring bags, French lites and Huret derls. 3. A gold-pimped out Peugeot PX 10 w/ drilliminimum rings. http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/francopedia/album?.dir=/ac11&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//photos.yahoo.com/ph//my_photos
