YORKSHIRE ROAD CLUB HISTORY 1891-1991 by F Beckwith. This tells the story of one of the most successful provincial clubs (especially in the 1930s and 40s) and has some lovely black and white photos. 91 pages. $15

OMAS TITANIUM HUBSET 5-speed NOS NIB perfect from the 1970s with 36 holes and 120mm over lock nut dimension suiitable for a 5-speed freewheel. These are a lovely pair of hubs that are very light - the front weighs 185g and the rear 272g both complete with quick release skewer. the hub threads are Italian - these are perfectly compatible with English threaded blocks too. $45

SHIMANO DURA-ACE LARGE FLANGE HUBS NOS 32H or 36H 5-speed from the 1970s with 120mm old. These are easily as good as the Campagnolo Record hubs and even better finished. $80 a pair

RALEIGH SPEARPOINT MUDGUARDS/FENDERS celluloid suitable for both 26in and 27in wheels with the original stays and fittings. The stays have surface rust. They bear a Raleigh transfer on the rear guard. Both guards have some marks but nothing serious and there are no cracks or splits. Really rather rare $85
STRONGLIGHT 49D RINGSET 50/40T chainring set - the inner ring is also suitable for Stronglight type 63 and type 93 chainsets. From the 1970s. Very Good condition $40
LA PRATIQUE DU VELO by DANIEL REBOUR 1949 It is in very good/excellent condition; this book is both rare and widely sought after. 227 pages. It is crammed full of Rebour drawings including many special Rene Herse parts plus many other very special parts from that era. It is probably the best reference book to French touring and racing bikes of the era. $135
MAVIC M4 700C 40H RIM NOS from the 1980s - these were the top touring bike and tandem rim of the time able to take tyres up to 40mm wide. No reserve. $45 for two, $25 for one
1950s REAR CARRIER/PANNIER RACK unusual and pretty. It is in very good condition but could do with refinishing. $30
INTERNATIONAL CYCLE SPORT 3 JUNE 1968 It has an excellent feature on the Paris-Roubaix won that year by Jean Stablinski with a great colour photo of him and Merckx together. There are also wonderful articles onCaptain Dan Henry and his bikes - he was touring Britain at the time, and a great account of the Women¹s 12 hour time trial which Beryl Burton won with 277 miles. Jock Wadley one of the greatest British cycling journos was editor of International Cycle Sport - these magazines ran from 1969 to 1984 are absolutely fascinating. 38 pages. $12
INTERNATIONAL CYCLE SPORT 16 Sept 1969 This is the Tour De France issue (with a lot about Eddy Merckx of course for this was his first TDF win) but there¹s also the report of the Mersey Roads 24 hour in which Roy Cromack set the record at 507 miles - this record stood for more than 25 years. Jock Wadley one of the greatest British cycling journos was editor of International Cycle Sport - these magazines ran from 1969 to 1984 are absolutely fascinating. 38 pages. $12
