I want to put a proper set of wheels on my 1948 Benotto track bike. I already have a set of Campagnolo Gran Sport large flange track hub shells and am looking for some appropriate 28 hole rims to be used with them. The bike would almost certainly have come with one with either Nisi or Ambrosio rims as they were both cross-town suppliers of Benotto in Turin. Milanese rim-makers like Fiamme would have been quite a bit less likely.
Does anybody have a pair of such rims that they would like to trade for other items? The spoke holes would not have ferrules back in the 40's, so please no offers for rims with ferrules.
Thanks!
