Ha! I thought that only happened at the Cirque! What a hoot! 'Cept we caught it the first time and tossed out all the votes! (Thanks to our wonderful volunteer judges!) Then, lo and behold, the same folks did it again this past Cirque! In the case at the Cirque, it turned out it was done by the very young children of the bike owner unbeknownst to him (we hope!)
Also, I want to make a point about Maurice Bresnahan, who is attempting to keep the Larz event afloat.... Maurice has been to the Cirque and Velo Rendezvous and has proven himself over and over again to be a wonderfully energetic contributor and equally fair minded enthusiast for all marques and styles of vintage bikes.. As Peter Naimann and Mike Kone move about to other points on the globe, Maurice keeps the flame burning in the North Eastern USA...
And secondary kudos to Linda Pernice, who I have not met yet, but has organized a swap meet on that Saturday, August 7th.
I hope all of us will support these events as "there ain't many of em!!"
