As far as I know the Gipiemme-Simplex relationship was at least partnered by
1980. How many years previous or afterwards I don't really for sure. I would
only add that I have seen 1985 era Gipiemme rear derailleurs on ebay that were
most defiantely not made by Simplex. I am assuming Gipiemme made these all by
their lonesome, but if someelse has more acurate info, I would like to hear it
as well.
