Does anyone know the year Campagnolo switched from the world logo to the shield? And the year they switched brand markings from "brev" to "patent"?
A quick browse of the archives didn't help. Thankx
Greg Arnold nyc ~ ~ ~ It's the other way around with the words: They switched from "PATENT" to
"BREV.". Some think it was done in order to sound more European, where initially, they sought more business by having the more American sounding word. The change came in the mid-late 70s, I think, but I do not know when.
