to add insult to injury, i recall that these road tested machines in question were each used for a 12 mile loop. period. in other road tests, the scribe used the bicycle for a month or more - some even raced them before the articles were written. not so in this steel "show-down" issue. e-RICHIE chester, ct

Not quite that subtle. There was general agreement that the bike with the

cheapest tubing felt the best. Phil Brown Built many mixed tubing bikes myself but not in San Rafael, Calif.
