It was found in close proximity to a stash of old bike parts and its shape is vaguely reminiscent of a bicycle frame. It is marked "PARAMOUNT" in large red letters and, clearly, has never been used. It bears no labels of any sort carrying information concerning country of origin, material composition or instructions for cleaning. Is it bicycle related? Can someone identify it?

The tape measure gives the scale. On the left is a velcro tightening cuff. To the right of that is a buckle on a short strap and farther right there is a long, never used, canvas strap. Finally, the bag widens at the extreme right to about seven inches and contains a full length zipper.

What is this thing? Half a straight jacket for a Schwinn addict? Martin Needleman Annapolis, Maryland ------------------------------------------------------------ Martin-
While your item is not half a straight jacket, it looks like its large enough to stow away an unruly toddler or small child. Regretfully, I don't believe that it was designed with that purpose in mind. What you have there is a carrying pouch that attaches and hangs via those straps to your top tube, effectively, or perhaps not so effectively, fitting within your bike's main triangle. I have one similar yet smaller, (thus can only fit woodchucks or smaller creatures into it) that displays the Columbus name and logo. Use yours proudly. cheers- Dave Anderson Cut Bank MT
