I have a NOS 1981 or 1982 catalogue from one of Sheldon Brown's competitors on Commonwealth Avenue in Boston. In those years the top 4 bikes from Fuji had just about same chromoly pipes with different dropouts, and the same burgundy color (sometimes mixed with silver). They came with beautiful suede leather burgundy saddles from Japan.
The Super Record was built with, errr, Super Record, the Finest with Vintage Superbe, the Newest with Vintage Cyclone, and the Newest Mark II with Suntour BL component grouppo. Dia Compet 400 or 500 brakes.
Why are these fuji's so rare on ebay ?? Are the IBOB's hoarding them all ??
