Subject: [CR]Olympia frame questions

I got a call from a buddy yesterday morning. Trash day on his street and a neighbor was throwing away some bikes. He knows me too well. Drop breakfast and drive over to see what's what before the trucks arrive. 3 rusty Schwinns from the 80's that don't warrant a closer look.

Wait. There's a frame sticking out from a can. Stop the car. Walk over and rescue a frame, loose fork and 2 wheels.

It's an Olympia.

Italian.

Campagnolo dropouts. Campy steel crank. Chrome lugs. Rust.

Here are photos:

Looks mid to low end, but has forged dropouts. Neat lugs. And cool headbadge. Any ideas on this bike?

I know it's no Masi, but it might make a nice project to bring back to life.

Fred
