Sounds like a neat bike Brian, but I think that is not a practice DeRosa would have done. I have seen many many DeRosas... You may be seeing file marks from shaping and redefining the lugs. Or have you seen the frame "in the buff" to confirm that? If so, that would be a first, and an interesting discovery for

DeRosa buffs. Brian Baylis Jim Cunningham, Joe Bell or any other painters, can any of you tell me I am mistaken and that you have seen this building up the lugs with brass on a DeRosa?
