Hi. I wanna raise the height of my handlebars by raising the stem. I have a Peugeot "74 PX10 with a STRONGLIGHT headset and an AVA stem. Can the stem be raised to where part of the slit on the stem overlaps the Headset? The wedge is clearly in the head tube however a portion the stem slit is over the threads of the Headset. Is this OK or should the stem be lowered to where no portion the the slit overlaps the headset?
