A search in the Used Bike Buyers Guide for SLX shows quite a few listings for 85, more for 86, but only one in 1984 and that was for Guerciotti. So, my guess is 1984-85 was the year that Columbus officially came out with SLX as a tubeset. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
