Urs Freuler (Switzerland) was World Pro Points Race (track) Champion in 1982 and 1983, and World Pro Keirin Champion in 1983, while a member of the Atala team.
1982 Italian Pro Road Champion was Pierino Gavazzi of the Atala team. I haven't been able to find Atala's 1983 champion... perhaps a track discpline?

remember any world champions riding Atala in that era, or any Italian
champions for that matter.
