Sutherland's lists the stack height, but I don't have mine handy. The classic solution to a too-short steerer was to use a Campy pista HS, which had a smaller stack than a Campy road HS. I've used a steel Tange Passage, and Sutherland's lists the Tange Levin steel as having the same short stack as the Passage, which is very close to old Campy pista. The steel Tanges I have look very similar to Campy NR or pista and are either unmarked or have only easily removed decals, so they could pass for Campy from a foot away.

anyone have the stack height for the nuovo/super record headset handy? need to know if the athena i have will work or if i need to figure something else out. the athena looks like it's ~35mm + whatever threading i need exposed for the top-nut.
