7th July, 1933, Francis Faure set a new Hour Record of 45.055 km. at the Parc des Princes in Paris. At that time the UCI's definition of a "bicycle" was still rather vague, and Faure was able to use this machine built by Charles Mochet... it passed by the UCI technical committee, but the UCI later reversed their decision, and Faure's ride disappeared from the UCI's record books.
