Well, I just booted off a CR member for life.
I had earlier given this individual "one last chance" and he just couldn't resist. It's a shame because when he wasn't losing his cool and allowing himself to curse & rant, I had the feeling he was actually a very good guy and one who could be a friend. Just had a short fuse and no self control. Sad.
So, here I go again, urging and to some degree demanding that all you CR list members to get your act together. If you feel the urge to argue or animatedly debate, nip it, nip it in the bud.
I constantly and off-list urge you all to sign off properly and stay on topic. Just because you don't see an on-list message from me doesn't mean that I am not at work behind the scenes. Rarely do I "go public" with a request that a member correct her/his ways. This is to save embarrassment and to avoid a stream of comments about the situation. So often I ask a member to adhere to the rules and I get the juvenile response "...But you let (so and so) do it!"
