I just received this very cool 30's BR drum brake fixed hub from Mr Stone. Yes, this three (four?) pound wonder has reverse threads for a lockring. However, when I spun on a flanged BSA cog and lock ring, there is a slight gap between the two, preventing the lockring from doing it's job.
The question is, do I put a spacer/washer between the cog and lockring or inboard of the cog to push it out the required distance? Or will either method suffice?
TIA
Warren (wait till you see my fixed gear roadster)
