It appears that the only difference between the 1975 and 1976 brochures (if we can believe http://www.retroraleighs.com) is the front cover. Everything else inside the brochure is the same. I was told that Raleigh used to put out a fall and a spring brochure and that they were sometimes different. Could it be that the 1976 brochure is one of these "2nd half of the year" brochures and that we actually have 2 different 1975 brochures ??

I have two different 1979 brochures and the insides are the same.

One has a stylized picture of a racer in raleigh team colors One has a real racer photographed at slow speed for a blue The insides are completely the same.

I intend to add 1972, 1979, and 1980 catalogues to the archive soon in high-res format, now that I have color re-touching software.

I am also puzzled by differences between the 1974 and 1975 catalogues. Both catalogues have a picture of a rear trunk rack with a license plate. In the 1974 catalogue, the license plate is blanked out. In the 1975 catalogue, the license plate of this car (and another one) are visible. It's very strange.

It's curious that the following years are missing from the Bulgier archive, and yet, I have never seen a credible catalog appear on ebay :
