The only pic I have ever seen of these rare beasts is in Bicycle mechanics in workshop & competition by Steve Snowling and Ken Evans, on page 121 is shown WF Holdsworth, with SR headset, retrofriction levers and the brakes are block lettered SR brakes with the pointed front nut, all other parts on the brakes are as per any other late 70's NR brake, with what looks like SR shoes. This book was first published 1986. Maybe this info will be of interest to someone, even thou slightly out of the timeline.
   I do remember a listmember commenting recently about wanting some of these rare levers. Personally they are so ugly its hard to look at the pic.
   I would just either get some cast up or make a pair from 2 pairs, depending on intended use, the chances of finding a pair would be as easy as finding Rocking horse s&*t, or maybe even hens teeth, thanx for the indulgence.......regards wayne davidson Invers NZ.........
