The SR seatpost is not the only strange feature.

Can anyone remember seeing an Ilkeston-built 753 with that style of seatstay cap? DB Ak, NZ

I'm not sure it's even a 753 frame. The tubing decal is gone. Looks more like an early 531 Team frameset to me. The post diameter would help ID it. Cool, but perhaps not as cool as its alledged provenance....
