Spandau Ballet is not only off topic but is just plain nancy & well .... soft. Euro version of Leo Sayer if'n ya aks me. Clearly you guys were into them just to impress the chicks. Heaven 17, Lena Lovich, Joy Division & Gary Numan are much cooler & the real deal 80's.
Kraftwerk has it all then some ....... and no song gets me all juiced to ride my bike fast as their immortal classic "Tour de France" (on Vinyl and volume 11 might I add). Sublime, ethereal, hypnotically beautiful. And ..... the lyrics could perhaps be construed as on topic.
