I think 1980's as well,the thing I notice most are the 1010B dropouts without the holes for the chain hanger gizmo.Seems as though everything else in the early short dropout era has the holes.And they vanish in 1982-ish.What do you think folks? Harris Spracher- I own an earlier unit Waynesboro Va
