Hi all, I am sure I wrote something about these a while ago, As Chuck
stated "PLEASE LEARN TO USE THE ARCHIVES", don't get me wrong I am not
perfect, so don't flame me. I have rebuilt a few, not a job for the
fainthearted. I do have a proper made tool, well 3 but 2 have the vital
part damaged, I have not gotten around to making new parts for them I
better before the last one goes, but they are great for hub races and
pedal races, makes the job easy. No branding on them, and not made by
Campagnolo either, I did see a mention of them in an old 80's copy of
Bicycling, in one of those nice old adverts, I think they retailed for
about US$27, would would seem OK as they are nice, If I remember
correctly the advert had no makers name mentioned either. I got mine from
a big auction of Campagnolo small parts with a cabinet and some tools as
well, well over a year ago.
I better go as tea is cooking and just about ready to eat, but I did
make also a tool that can install the inner dust seal #678 after the
pedal is assembled, it is easier to assemble when off, as the small
bloody balls are a right mess to install, so I made this tool and it
works great........regards wayne davidson Invers NZ..........
