This is a fair price and shouldn't be considered anomalous. It is however strictly due to the fact that it is the most sought after combination of: a 26.2 mm diameter seatpost and therefore correct for an older Cinelli bike, with adjustable tension plastic saddle. Were this in any other diameter, I would expect it to be worth quite a bit less. I will soon be offering a later version 27.0 Nitor seatpost and leather-covered Unicanitor saddle and would be happy to get what I feel is a fair price for it, which is only a fraction of the result of this auction.
