gpvb-issimo, attaboy! 1% or so of the subscribers generate 85% of the noise simply because that's the percentage of folks that "lived it" and know the answers to the questiond posted by the others. we batted this around three-four years ago. water seeks its own level. in truth, the correct reply to 99% of the posts is, "...it's in the archives", because it is. it's all been covered, nearly! e-RICHIE chester, ct

There are about ten or twenty list members that generate about 85% of the posts. There are some folks who spend way too much time looking for something to pounce on in every post, often for ego reasons, acting much like cyber-bullies. Definitely intimidating to newbies, that's for sure.
