Just a very quick email to acknowledge all those emails I received off-List in response to my offer to go hunting for French goodies for List membersThe consensus seems to vbe on the look-out for Singers, with the odd Gemini, or track bike not far behind.

I have already identified in France a couple of possible Singers - one of them a lady's model, now laying in my barn waiting to be identified The other is not too far away.

I have convinced my wife that she should take the plane back home about a fortnight before I am due to leave in, hopefully, a fully laden-with-bikes- estate car. That will give me soon free time for sniffing out the Singers and Gemini.

Dear Norris of Settle,

Please tell me of these estate cars; I mean laden with bikes! Is it what we call a station wagon or is it a unique and regal devise specific for large volume cycle transport?

Yours in Estate Car Interest,
