Howdy folks,
I am not weighing in on any of this (well, if it isn't clearly stated that the frame has crash/possible crash damage it should be), but I do have a question. Is there anything unsafe about riding a bike that seems to have slight ripples in the top and down tubes and appears to have a correct replacement fork? Let's assume that alignment was checked and reset as needed and the bike rides straight and true. My understanding of classic steel frames is that this is perfectly safe.
Thanks,
Doug Van Cleve Chandler, AZ
P.S. I can see why you might not want a bike like this for collecting, I am just wondering about riding...
