I could not judge from the photos the claims made either way. There are hi tech methods to determine if there is stress in the tubes. They involve imaging technology that highlights stress points or fatigue in metal. Not having a lab report, I could not judge this bike as either damaged or not. To speculate at my level of experience is worthless. In lieu of a lab report I would think that the opinion of 3 experienced frame builders would suffice. I say 3 not to question anyone's integrity or experience. I just know that every murder trial has qualified experts on both sides of the table that swear on a bible that their story is correct yet one of them is always wrong.
