Greetings:
A chain question! What are the differences between the Regina Superleggera
chain and the Regina Extra "Oro" - when did they appear? Are they both
identical spacing? Both correct for a classic Nuovo Record crank and 5
speed Regina 'gold' cog? Thanks!

Greg-
I think you are asking 2 questions, so I will give you 2 answers.
Regina ORO is "gold" colred, actually brass plated, and in my hnads works
fine with 6 speed freewheels and below and of course have no problem w/Campy NR
cranks. Appeared befor my time (1960s)
Regina SL has hollow pivot pins, weighs about 1/5 less than the ORO, no brass
plating, appeared mid 80s, slightly narrower spacing than ORO, will work with
up to 8-speed clusters and below.
Which one is correct for you? only you can decide that.
