Hi Ya,

Chuck I hope you on the mend and since you were minted pre 1985 as told by your Joe Doe 1958 toe tag; I mean revised wrist bracelet you are very on topic.

A fellow racer from CT; David Hartcorn (sic??) a former Whitcmb USA or R Sachs rider as I recall said his shops had a tool policy founded by Schwinn. This was back in the hey day of the Varsity so it went like this.

We are professionals; We use the right hammer for the right job; no center punches!

David paid me a high compliment after I won an early season race against some Canadian and USA Team riders and fit local heros.

"Watch him, that guy can sprint like a Son-of-o-B***H". I thought that meant good in North Carolina English. Ahh, so long ago. Now they say "That guy can eat" ...well you know.
