Removal of a crown race with us involves a nice brass punch! We'll use the Punch first to loosen tight crown race. Heavy enough to deliver a nice blow and soft enough to not damage the crown race. Then perhaps we'll use the crown race remover to complete the job!.............BTW: When trying to use a crown race remover such as the Cyclus! Always after a blow with the hammer we'll back to tool off for a reset and do it again! This way you avoid the chances of the tool slipping pass the crown race............Yeah! A few more steps of getting it off but well worth the effort in trying to keep the customer happy.
