I bought this bike in October 1977, rode it for a few years but not much since. It is completely original. Following are the components for a database, but also to help with identification.

Serial number: stamped on left rear dropout Brake levers: Mafac with hoods Brakes: Mafac center pull Front derailleur: Simplex Super Competition, clamp on Rear derailleur: Simplex (plastic pulleys) with D stamp Freewheel: ? Crank: Stronglight TS Chain rings: Stronglight 52/40 Pedals: Lyotard BTE, S.D.G.D., 136R Rims: Rigida 16-24 Hubs: Normandy large flange (elongated holes between axle & spokes) Quick release: Simplex Tires: Raleigh 27 x 1-1/8, Schrader valves Stem: Atax (decal) Handlebars: ?, black tape Seat post: ? Seat: Gauthier 88 Bottle cage: Brevete, clamp on

Top tube decal: white lion with stripes Down tube decal: Peugeot between stripes, both sides Seat tube decals (top to bottom): Peugeot Cadre Allege, stripes & checkerboard, Record du Monde above & below lion on tricolor, stripes & checkerboard plus Made in France

Other: brazed on cable guides, chrome front fork ends, chrome fork crown, Peugeot/lion emblem riveted to the head tube, 23² frame size, emerald green with gold trim around the head tube lugs & gold at the top of the seat stays.

The original sales receipt identified this as a U010. What are the differences between this and the PX-10?
