Congratulation on the Raleigh. I should be a fun ride. For riding on the street, just practice somewhere flat and private first so you don't need to worry how you look. Some good pointers at:

However, you'll probably want to add at least a front brake. Also the track gearing on your Raleigh (probably somewhere like 50-15) is too high for most people who value their knees to ride on the street. Somewhere around 65-75 gear inches is likely best. Smallest Campy chainring for your 151 bolt circle is a 46t I think, although TA made(s?) a 44 that will fit. 44x17 is what I use on one of my Track bikes, and 47x18 on another.

Good luck. It might make you want to replace all your other road bikes with classic track bikes.
