Hello Pat, I would try and make sure it is all the way in the body of the freewheel first and use a vice not a wrench. If it still slips the tool may be worn out ask a shop if they have one and can they take it off and last take the face plate off remove the outer part of the body and clamp the inner body in a vice and turn. freewheel, (the Shimano tool is more snug, and therfore probably a more
correct tool). When I attempt to remove the FW, the splines on the tool slip
(jump?). Am I using the wrong tool? What recourse do I have if the tool is
correct? I really want that FW removed. Any Ideas?
